A distinguished student journal for extraordinary minds
Curating the finest academic and creative work from the next generation of scholars, writers, and thinkers. Every piece that bears our name will have earned its place.
The Journal
Beaumont Iverson is a student-led academic and literary journal dedicated to publishing exceptional work by young writers, researchers, and thinkers. We operate on a simple principle: age should never be a barrier to serious scholarship.
Every piece submitted undergoes a rigorous editorial review. We read everything. We consider everything. But we only publish work that meets the standard — writing that is precise, original, and impossible to ignore.
Why Submit
The best student writing often disappears into a folder after it is marked. Beaumont Iverson exists to change that. Publication here means your ideas reach a wider audience and your work is preserved beyond the classroom.
Whether you have written a research paper that challenges an established theory, an essay that reframes a familiar debate, or a piece of creative writing that demands to be read — we want to see it.
Our Pillars
Every submission is evaluated against the highest academic and creative standards. We do not compromise — we elevate.
We seek work that challenges convention, proposes new frameworks, and reveals ideas the world has not considered yet.
Brilliant ideas deserve brilliant presentation. We champion precision of language, clarity of argument, and beauty of form.
Submission Guidelines
We accept work from students at any level — secondary school, sixth form, undergraduate, or postgraduate. The only requirement is that the work is yours and that it is good.
Essays and research papers: 1,500–5,000 words. Creative writing has no strict limit, but concision is valued.
All work must be original and unpublished elsewhere. We run plagiarism checks on every piece that reaches review.
Submit as PDF, Word document, or Google Doc link. Legible font, double-spaced, include your name and institution.
Include a 100–200 word abstract or summary. This helps our readers assess the scope of your work quickly.
For research papers, use a consistent citation style — Harvard, APA, Chicago. We are not fussy, just be consistent.
Every submission receives a decision and reviewer notes. Even rejected work gets constructive feedback.
The Process
Upload your manuscript or share a Google Doc. Include an abstract and select a category.
Our editorial board and reviewers evaluate each piece for originality, rigour, and expression.
Work marked for updates receives detailed notes. We help bring promising pieces to publishable standard.
Accepted work is published in the next edition — a permanent record of exceptional student scholarship.
Disciplines
We welcome submissions across all academic and creative disciplines. The common thread is not subject matter — it is excellence.
About Us
Beaumont Iverson was founded with a singular vision: to create a journal worthy of the extraordinary talent that exists within the student community. We are not merely a publication — we are a standard.
Our editorial board comprises dedicated reviewers with an unwavering eye for quality, depth, and originality. Every piece that bears the Beaumont Iverson name has survived a meticulous review process designed to uphold the highest academic and creative benchmarks.
Our Mission
We believe that age is no measure of intellect. The students whose work graces Beaumont Iverson are not students who show promise — they are students who have already arrived. Our mission is to give their ideas the platform, the prestige, and the permanence they deserve.
Monthly Cycles
Submissions close on the last day of each month. Our editorial board then reviews every piece received during that cycle. Decisions — accept, request updates, or reject — are issued within the first two weeks of the following month, accompanied by detailed reviewer notes.
